My Baby will be ONE WESNDESDAY

I cannot believe a year has gone by since I had my precious little angel, Aubrey....Time flies when you are having fun...really....especially when you are blessed with children...My baby girl will be 1 on Wednesday and I will be 29...whew...almost the big 3-0 Well, not yet...But I tell ya I feel so blessed to be a mom and to be doing what I love and being home with the kids as well....I love watching every moment of all of my kids lives...Well, mostly LOL I thought I'd post a comparison of Aubrey at about 2 weeks old and Aubrey at about 12 months old...Makes me want to cry, but she is getting such a cute personality...I hope you all can join us for her bday party Wednesday at My Private playground from 5:30 to 7:30...See ya there!!! BTW she totally looks like my mom on the recent one....totally!!! Love ya momma! You marked us well! xoxo

NEW HANDMADE HATS!!! FOR SALE!!!

I recently purchased a hat for Aubrey by jamie rae hats...They are so sweet! I love them...I've gotten to where I put them on her nonstop..and you wouldn't believe the compliments....people ask, "where did you get that?" Well, I am selling the jamie rae hats for my customers, but I am also selling my own homemade ones too..they are very similar...I'm now making the same type of hats but different flowers etc...There is a white one that I love because it goes with everything...I also have several springy looking colors...Pinks and yellows...I can do any colors on a white or a pink hat....So let me know which color your little one needs and I'll get busy making it!! The price is going to be $20.for mine or the jamie rae....I know that may sound a little steep for a baby hat, but seriously they are very comfortable and I know that most stores sell them for $24-32 retail for the jamie rae hats and I think some of mine are even more nice depending on the flower...The white is my fave so far...the flower alone is $11.00 so I have to charge a little something for the flower,hat, and my time, etc...I hope you all love them as much as me...I think I've also figured out how to make bows, so if you need some, just give me a holler and I'll put them on the list...I'm excited...As if I have any more time, but this is something that my little sister Cassy is very interested in helping me and also Kaitlynn...She did a great job helping me tonight!! I love things that add to photography and these hats are a must if you have a little girl anywhere from newborn to around 3 years old....Come see me soon!

Staci, good luck choosing a size on that one..LOL I have this special thing about blue eyes cause I don't have blue eyed babies, so I eat them up when I get to photograph them :)

OUTDOOR SESSION

It felt great to get back out doors today!!! It's been a while!! I need to get back in the swing, but I got a few sweet shots of Miss Christy Robbins and family, a friend of mine and fellow photographer..She is such a beautiful person from inside to out and so is her family...What a sweet family to photograph! I had fun today guys...I can't wait to meet the little guy!

Girls Night Out

I can actually say that I went to the first concert down at the new corbin facility...it was neat to be ten miles from home at a concert....It took a while to get in and out due to the traffic and the blizzard (lol) but we made it and had a good time...Just me and a few of us gals went to see Montgomery Gentry...I think they were proud to be in their home state :) Now, back to work :)

HELLO

Goodmorning...I'm actually up early this morning....Well, I gotta let you all know that I'm booking Easter for this coming week March 16th-22nd!!! My papaw bought this baby lamb at the stock yards yesterday for like one dollar and it's so sad...The momma got sold for slaughter and this baby is only like 2 or 3 days old...The cord is still hanging from it....I'm hoping it lives....Stuff like that makes me want to become a vegetarian....Several of us were trying to bottle feed it last night...poor baby, it's so pitiful...So we'll see how it goes...If it lives and I can give it a warm bath somehow, it may be in the easter fotos....If not, I'll still have a few props that I've bought for easter that will still be cute.......So anyway, go ahead and book your Easter sessions for next week...Saturday the 21st is getting full, so if you want that day, hurry!! LOL I hope everyone is having a great week!!

Okay so it's 3am...got lots that I need to do still, but this makes the second night, so I'm gonna totally call it a night, but had to post a couple of Aubrey from this week...She's my little sunshine!! Goodnight/morning to all!! :)

EASTER SESSIONS

Okay, everyone, I'm still working on a package for Easter, but I'm so excited!!! I usually don't get into the props much and etc, but I've ordered some baby chicks, a bunny, and will possibly be doing a real live baby lamb...Everyone's been asking me to do it, so I'm going to try and make it happen!! I didn't get to do Easter last year, because Aubrey was being born...Actually the Tuesday after Easter to be exact..on my birthday March 25th...So,anyway, keep checking back...I'm getting some neat props, I even ordered some baby lamb costumes which sounds a little cheezy but they are actually very cute...for a baby boy and a baby girl....And also, I have this door...It's an old farmhouse door from an old house....Really cool...And it happens to be baby blue with white on the panels, so it's really very cool for spring too.Anyone with blue eyes HAS to come!!! I cannot wait until things are blooming...for those of you that want to do spring family fotos, it's usually late march when the trees out at the farm bloom...FOR ONLY LIKE a week, so let me know if you want to be on that list....So, can you tell that I'm excited...I've ordered some new things and Spring is coming!! It was so nice today...I let Aubrey go without socks and shoes (she hates them anyway) It was nice!! If it would just stay this way!!! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I ordered a chair too..zebra baby..It's gonna be cool!! I'm excited..Lots of things are happenin in the studio..new stuff for a new season!!!Book your appointment today!!!
